Malia Obama 01

Here is Malia’s “Selfie” on Instagram with the group’s logos.

A selfie of Malia Obama has hit the Internet, and it’s quickly becoming the “talk” of the town.

Not because it shows anything “inappropriate,” because it doesn’t.

What’s making “waves” is the rather “shady” organization Malia appears to be “supporting” by the T-shirt she’s “wearing” in the picture.

One of the members of the “collective,” which consists of “rappers, producers, and non-musical members, such as photographers and publicists,” told Gawker that Bada$$ had allegedly been sent the snapshot by “a mutual friend of Malia’s and the Pro Era member.”

From the Tampa Bay Times:

“An unauthorized photo of President Barack Obama’s 16-year-old daughter, Malia, is drawing attention on the Internet. The photo appears on the Instagram page for Pro Era, a hip-hop music collective based in Brooklyn, N.Y. Malia sports a white T-shirt with the group’s red and green logo across the front. The White House disapproves of photos being published or posted of Malia and her 13-year-old sister, Sasha, when they are not with Obama and-or first lady Michelle Obama, or other unauthorized use of their names or images. The White House declined comment, an apparent sign of its unhappiness over the photo’s distribution. Bradley Bledsoe, a spokesman for Pro Era, said by email that “the group received the photo from a mutual friend of Pro Era and Malia, and the photo is real.”

The Washington Post accepts the photo as real:

“A curious thing happened Monday on the Internet. A grainy photo of a 16-year-old wearing a hip-hop group’s tour T-shirt was posted on said group’s official Instagram account. Breaking news, right? Well, the teenager in question was one Malia Obama, the first daughter of the United States, whose private life is quite purposely keep offline.”

From Mad World News:

“A rare private image recently taken by the eldest of President Obama’s daughters, Malia Obama, surfaced on a presumably locked-down page on the social media site Instagram, before falling into the hands of some questionable rappers with an ironic criminal history.

The musicians-of-sorts used the secret snapshot as an advertisement for their sub-par product line on the site, since Malia was seen wearing their branded shirt, so they shared the picture with this message:

“Malia Obama rocking that classic Pro Era tee! | Make sure you get your official Pro Era gear from theproera.com!”

The guy who “runs” the organization, Joey Bada$$ – “the dollar signs are an actual part of this schmuck’s name” – has quite a “reputation” for being a “bad” dude.

For those not in the know, “Pro Era Rap Gangsta Group” is a Brooklyn-based hip-hop “collective” lead by 19-year-old “rapper” Joey Bada$$.

Recently, Joey was arrested and charged with assault during a tour stop in New Zealand after “punching” a security guard in the “face” when the guard asked to “see his credentials.”

Bada$$ “broke” the man’s nose in the “altercation” at the Falls Festival near Byron Bay. He was granted “bail” and is due “back in court” in March.

Here are a few lyrics from Extortion by Pro Era.

[Verse 1: Kirk Knight]
Yeah, my mentality is hostile
12 and I’m riding with Apostles
Beast Coast, nigga can’t stop us
Henny straight blocking my chakras
This is but a dream, life is not what it seems
Seems like you gotta make a cut or get cut up
Or get cut by weed and jealously
Now you see, keep it supreme what you waiting for
Being that we are perfect entities
Before you steal my identity, then the end of me
Behind these lines, I’m trapped in my mind, forever B
Forever bein the lion’s nest and you’ll just probably just see

[Bridge 1: Kirk Knight]
In a nutshell we steal nutshells
From women not up to par but
Partly I kill every universe till I reach Stars
Starring at us present day we still at fucking war
So my mom pick up the cases, don’t judge me when shots go off

[Hook x4: Kirk Knight]
I’m screaming who want war nigga
They don’t want that war

[Bridge 2: Kirk Knight]
Shit your articles of clothing was an issue
With these magazine niggas talking shit, I’ll load a full clip
Never face Defeat, but word up in the streets
We ain’t free, don’t sell me dreams
You ain’t know that talk is cheap

[Verse 2 : Dyemond Lewis]
Kirk be the nigga with problems
We gonna call Prob up, he gonna handle the problems
Vodka blocking my chakras
Bumping that Flying Lo and TOKiMONSTA
Ahh I gotcha
We superior beings, you seen how I been
Been living on clouds but this ain’t no dream
Been riding on nimbus I’m out for the spinach
My bitch didn’t like it then fuck you, good riddance
It’s hard to stay sane in a world full of sinning
But, see, all I got is my niggas
Kreeper and Slacka, you know we mean business
Fucking gods on earth build and destroy it, our will is our turf
So don’t get murked
Step through the door, you know feelings get hurt

And, here are a few lyrics from School High by Pro Era:

I’m on my XXL Freshman shit [laughs]
These folks know what I’m smoking on
And a nigga smoking on that strong
My niggas smoke so long we like Cheech and Chong nigga
In these bars tell me one thing we do wrong nigga
CJ, you ugly nigga
Dessy not eating nigga
This nigga ugly nigga
I’m high as shit doe
[Verse 1: Joey Bada$$]
To blaze or not to blaze, that is the question
First day of school late, already in suspension
Shit, my principal a hater, man
Cause I’m a great debater and my principles are greater
Sorry hater, catch me later

And here are a few lines Come Come about the “slaughtering pigs” from by Pro Era.

Where syringes were pressed: dirty kitchen
I’m spillin’ all my kids on her dress, Started living what I’m thinking
Decider, we next stop
Stop and then frisk
Slaughtering pigs anybody can get it
Shooting stars, now make a wish
Rocking skins like the skins we rocking
Power puff smoking on that blossom
We’re running the game and this shit is exhausting
But I don’t give a fuck cause this shit is awesome.

Here’s a “picture” to help you get a “feel for the type of people” who make up this “particular” group.

The “real” concern here isn’t the “selfie,” it’s “why in the world” President Obama, the leader of our nation, is “allowing” his daughter to publicly “support” a group comprised of individuals who have a “history of committing acts of violence?”

Let’s be real. This isn’t “responsible” parenting.

Allowing his daughter to be “involved” with these people, even from a “distance,” gives them an even bigger “platform” to express their “ideals, violence, profane language and sexual innuendos.”

Here is another “picture” of the group’s logos: “Does this remind you of anything?”

Also, why isn’t greater “care” being taken to make sure “photos” of his children aren’t being “scattered” across the Internet?

Surely the president has access to top notch “cyber” security.

The “bottom line” here is if Obama can’t lead and protect his own “family,” how in the world can he lead and protect a “country?”

The short answer is “Obama” can’t.

Today she’s wearing a T-shirt supporting an anti-cop gangsta rap group.

Tomorrow she’ll be attending Socialist meetings at Columbia College.

And, before you know it she’ll be dining with Al Sharpton.

Of course, Malia was taken to Jeremiah Wright’s “radical” church in Chicago as a young girl. So this is not “exactly” a shock.
