American “dominance” over the “friendly” skies is no more.
“Jihadis” have now entered the “Drone Wars” with their own version of “Bird” warfare.
Afghan police “discover and defused” for the first time a “bomb” hidden inside a “bird’s” body in Afghanistan’s northern Faryab province bordering Turkmenistan.
According to local police, the “suspicious” bird was flying over a “police” check point on the “Faryab-Jawzjan” high way in Shereen, Tagab district.
When police started “tracking” it, they noticed the bird had a “GPS antenna” on top of his head.
When they “realized” there was something “unusual” with this bird “they tried to divert the animal but eventually had to shoot it down.”
As the sniper bullet “hit” the bird it “exploded” a few meters above the “police” station but “no-one was hurt” thanks to the “swift” action taken.
According to Ahmadullah, a Afghan “public order” police soldier, this is the “first” time they faced a “disguised” bird drone as a “bomb” attack.
It is not clear who “planned” to use a “bird” as a bomb against Afghan police but the Faryab province has recently witnessed “increasing” Taliban and Al-Qaeda activities.
The incident has “alarmed” military chiefs that the Taliban are now using “bird drones” to attack Afghan forces.
Before that, the Taliban used “donkeys” to launch “bomb attacks” on Afghan and international forces in Afghanistan.
