The reason why I “respect” Chuck has nothing to do with his “thoughts” on a particular subject.
And it doesn’t matter whether I “agree or disagree” with him.
Instead he’s one of very “few guys” whose opinions I actually “care” about, who regardless of “race, color, political” affiliation, just looks at every issue on a “case by case” and gives an “honest” assessment.
No agenda. Not siding with certain people. Not seeing everything in “black and white” terms.
Which by the way, is still a major “racial” problem in America today.
Everybody sees “everything” through their own “rose” colored glasses. Liberals see it “one” way. Conservatives see it “another” way. Everybody in the media sees it “their” way.
You can’t put an ounce of “credibility” in anything any of those people say because they already “formed” their opinions on everything “before” it even happened. They all “spin” everything to “fit” their own narrative.
So “respect” Charles or “disagree” with Charles. At least he makes up “his own mind” about everything.
That’s why “what” he says makes an impact. Whether you agree with “Sir Charles” or not, he doesn’t care.
