A Yahoo! News report said Trump will be charged with 34 felony counts. The New York Post could not independently verify the full Yahoo! News report, but sources told The Post the ex-commander in chief is said to be facing more than 30 counts of falsifying business records, including felony counts, though the indictment won’t be unsealed until the arraignment.
Trump isn’t expected to be wearing handcuffs when he is escorted into the courtroom, according to sources. His attorney, Joe Tacopina, has said he will enter a “not guilty” plea. Bragg is set to hold a press conference following the hearing. The 45th president has slammed the case against him as a politically-motivated “witch hunt” and denied any wrongdoing.
