German Comedian Jan Böhmermann
Jan Böhmermann’s “poem” has caused quite a stir. The most important part of the video is “not” the actual poem but the “context” in which Böhmermann pointed out “freedom of speech.”

Erdoğan was sentenced to a ten-month prison term for reciting a “poem” during a public address in the province of Siirt in 1997:
